Episode 11 Update - 07/01/24 (Patreon)

I have now finished the character animation for Scene F. The most important scene is now covered and it's a relief. The animator working on polishing the climax has told me that they won't be able to start until early into July, so I should hear from him on that soon.

I'm now attempting to complete one final scene, Scene D. A lot of it is already complete, but a lot of it isn't. My attempt right now is shifting between going straight through from the beginning and tweaking all unfinished characters and taking on specific characters one at a time. The "scene" in total is actually two scripted scenes and is about ten minutes long total, so it's a little daunting, even if it's partially finished. On some of my streams I have been animating "Scene R" but this is actually a small isolated piece of Scene D. Scene D is the last unanimated scene.

I haven't heard from the musician scoring Scene A yet. I assume he is similarly having to take his time. In looking for musicians to do the Squad Song for the video, I've come across a few good options. I have other musicians I intend to work with, but first an foremost, I'd like to finish all the character animation to get a feel for the whole episode.

Speaking of which, after some input, I had the "Squad Song" re-done by humans. Despite the simplicity of the Squad Song lyric video I had in mind, I don't generally make time for it, and have been focusing on character animation. So, getting that out is not a big priority, and it'll probably happen in time, but cool song, right?

 I have a couple of things I'd rather get started on special effects-wise, but find it hard to focus on it when so much of the character animation still isn't done. In short, I'm still animating...
