Hey folks! As many of you know, I've been in the process of developing a visual novel, and just today I finished up a new demo build of the game which in effect is an update/overhaul to the original game demo that I put together two years ago.

Since then I've been almost exclusively working on the main game, but over the last couple months I've gone back and redone the beginning of the game to help it match the quality that the rest of the game has.

Seeing as you all support me and allow me to continue to work on my game, I thought I would offer the new demo for you all to play! (If you want to, of course. No pressure <3)

It's about 30-40 minutes long, and just an FYI: there's no nsfw content in the demo, and it's largely a story focused game overall (though there is romance content in the full game).

This is a very recently compiled build, so there's probably still a few bugs here and there-- hopefully nothing major that will disrupt your experience, should you choose to play it.

The demo is essentially the beginning of the game, and there's no nsfw content during that part. There is romance content in the full game, though its more along the lines of tasteful mature content than the kind of porn I post here on patreon

Also Marccus, I remember you mentioned before that you wanted to incorporate features such as scenario exploration. Is that included in this demo? I tried clicking around the screen but nothing happened so far

Not implemented here, there are going to be specific regions which function like a point and click adventure setting, but the player will know when they've entered one of these areas

Finally you are talking about the game here! Cannot wait to try it tonight! Is it for patrons only so far? Are you going to make the demo public after some time? I wanted to show it to my friend and give a link, but he has only Mac machine and the first demo doesn’t seem to have Mac version, so I’ll hold on that until you release the demo to the public.

btw, are you planing to add it on Steam? It’s a main huge platform for gamers and now they relaxed their rules on nsfw content, so please don’t ignore it.

Played through the demo and it seems so much more polished than the previous version 1.1.1, very well done! You are so talented! In some parts the demo, the interactive parts of the background reminded me of triple A adventures like Blade Runner by Westwood Studios or while the ancient elaborate style of other parts of the demo reminded me of The Last Express. I really look forward to playing your visual novel! By the way, are you looking for beta testers for the game?

I just finished playing the demo and it was a wonderful experience. This work of art you're creating is beautiful, atmospheric, moody, intriguing – I'm dying to keep playing. And Faaron drew me in right away, he's so unbelievably handsome and beefy, I can't wait to romance him! You've created a gorgeous work here, thank you for sharing it with us

Now I also finished playing through the new demo version... what can I say... WOW - Thank you! - it's worth every bit of time you are spending on it - it has come so far. I greatly enjoyed testing out different options and so far only encounter maybe (not sure if intended) one missing word in some dialogue with the sister "Seems *some* of us have a scrap of decency left". All these small changes and slight adaptations are so well done. I did not know that the remade the character of Eldet when that image was posted a while back - the appearance elicits different connotations now. Kunal's decision to leave feels more plausible with the added background about the pilgrimage, even though him having that vision of a plan takes a bit away of the desperation that I felt about the choice in first iteration. Not complaining though :) The visuals and animations are just so great, I'm so looking forward to finding out what's going on in this world. (And I want to give Faaron a hug of course ^^.) Take your time!

Faaron is so f..cking handsome! My favorite male character now of all visual novels I've played... But why Eldet now looks like magic corrupted Faaron? I also remember you had two versions (based on main characters) for such monster. I replayed the demo a few times (with different choices), but he still looks only like a Faaron's version. I guess there is some great mistery behide that character that we're going to reveal in the full version)) And, please, don't be affraid of adding more explicit content in the full version. We all like it!) It's like, what would Game of Thrones be without all that spicy porn they've put in it? (at least in first few seasons)

Replayed the old demo to recall how Eldet used to look. Cannot say which I preffer more... The new one looks intriguing (because seems like a twisted version of handsome Faaron), but the old one also was super cool looking daddy-demon. I will miss that character if he'll be completely different in the new one...

Loved the demo. Thank you so much for putting the time and love into it. Once I get further into gaming development and art, I'd love to work with you! Also, would you be willing to give us a CG pack of the images in the demo? I know some patreons tend to do that with their demos and full game builds.

I'll post some proper feedback but right now my initial response is: AAAAAAAAAH NEW ELDET BUILD I'M SO EXCITED AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! (if you've played Night in the Woods, picture Gregg's arm flail. If not, picturee Kermit's, and then go play Night in the Woods. AFTER YOU PLAY THE ELDET DEMO.)
