Monkey Wrench Ep 4 - The first proper update! (Patreon)

Two weeks into the new year already? Lordy!

We're two weeks now after the release of Ep 3 on Youtube and the outcry of support for us has been rather flattering.

At time of writing we managed to get to 384k views in two weeks before engagement collapsed.

I would be worried, but due to the insane growth that the series Patreon has seen since ep 3's release it's pretty much counterbalanced Ep3's mediocre YT performance (see attached image above). I can't thank you guys enough wanting to support our stuff, it means a whole lot! We're almost at our 2nd Patreon goal of $5k a month, we're very close to being able to do this full time.

Speaking of funding, the Scritch & Scratch plushies have 3 days left to go and they've shot past our initial goal of 500 sales each. We've definitely achieved our voice acting budget with these two. Any more we sell before now and the end of their campaign will be moved into the other parts of production (sound / Music).

As for Episode 4, Ash and I are almost done with the script. We've just gotta go over it a few more times to trim the fat and get it nice and flush, it's looking to be another big one, 30+ mins.

Once the funds from the plushies are in our hands we can begin voice recording and working on the storyboards and animatic around the end of January.

In the mean time I've picked up 3 rather meaty freelance jobs to help begin saving for the animation portion of the Ep, we're gonna need around 40-50k again, fingers crossed we can raise that money rather quickly so we can get this ep out mid year.

Since the next few weeks are gonna be a bit dry in terms of updates (we gotta wait for the money to come in before we fully start) enjoy a couple full refs of but a handful of characters that appear in Ep 4.
