After serving several years in the League of Aligned Worlds Navy, Shrike 'quit' (read; quit before they could fire him) to forge his own path to riches amongst the stars by forming his own Mercenary Company alongside his best bud, and far more level headed, Bulldog.

Shrike is rude, impatient, hot headed, and lazy. He loves to shoot first and to just keep on shooting. No problem can't be fixed with a blast of scorching hot plasma between the eyes. If they problem DOESN'T have eyes? Shoot it somewhere else, instead!

Shrike is utterly enamored with human culture, technology and food. Due to their exile and subsequent extinction well over 400 years ago, human tech, culture and trinkets are incredibly rare and go for a huge amount on black market sites. What little pay Shrike manages to snag from completed jobs ends up either being spent on pizza or on rare human stuff.

No one knows why, but Shrike is able to store and remove things from his head via a strange blue crystal in the back. Only he can access it, and it appears to have unlimited storing potential...
