Regarding iOS App Price Increase (Patreon)

Hi, everyone! Hope you're having a good day. Just wanted to share an important update regarding FUTURE Patreon subscribers.

Starting in November 2024, Apple is requiring Patreon to use their in-app purchasing system for new memberships purchased through the iOS app. This means that Apple will take a 30% fee from any new pledges made using the Patreon iOS app.

Basically, creators are given the option to either receive less money from the pledges or increase the pledge prices.

HOWEVER, this extra charge can be easily avoided.

To avoid this fee, I highly encourage NEW supporters to subscribe or pledge using the desktop version of Patreon or any platform other than the iOS app. Existing memberships made BEFORE November 2024 will NOT be affected by this change.

If you're considering supporting me in the future, please use the desktop version to avoid that 30% price increase.

TLDR; Starting November 2024, NEW users will be charged more money in the iOS app. Use the Patreon website on your desktop or on another non-iOS device to avoid the fee. Existing supporters before November 2024 won't be affected by this.
