I think Lie is about Jimin's dieting. He went through a very strict diet in this era, he would only eat 1 meal every 10 days. So I think the Lie is what he was telling himself during that time as he has issues with his self image and stuff aswell

i wouldn't say it's strictly about dieting. More like his mindset in general, always practicing, working hard as a trainee, continuing to do so as a member of bts, beating himself over smallest mistakes on stage etc.

I think you skipped the "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENT IN LIFE : YOUNG FOREVER" album that comes after "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENT IN LIFE PT.2". It has two music videos: Fire and Save Me. Both are bangers

Fyi: you accidentally skipped Reflection (RM’s solo) and Awake (Jin’s solo). But yes! I love how they each got a chance to shine for the first time here! Wings is so good and meaningful. I think there are a lot of themes: the struggles of young adulthood, feeling lost, gratitude, temptation, ambition, conflicted feelings… Mama is my favourite of the wings solo songs, but all 7 (or 8 if you count boy meets evil) are beautiful. I see your interpretation for first love, but I actually think his first love is the piano that stood in his childhood house before he was born, or music in general in a more abstract sense. Like yoongi said, “you’ll always be there, in whatever form” - as a literal piano or as his music studio/performance/producing programs… He said he cried while recording that song, and I really feel it.

ah yes wings. one of my favorite albums ever and a huuuuge favorite for a lot of people. it's that album. i see a few people pointed it out in the comments but first love is about his piano and then translates to his love for music in general. it's such a dear song to me, for a long time i couldn't listen to it without crying, when he says 'without you i am nothing' it hits me in the chest every time. a lot of queer armys read lie and stigma as very queer coded, thought you might find that interesting. also, live performances of their solo songs are insane. i knew you'd lose it when you hear that note in stigma since you've been praising his voice the entire song up until that point. seeing and hearing him do it live was a religious experience for me, honestly. he was so proud of himself for pulling it off. also in your list of the next songs you didn't mention reflection by rm and maybe it slipped your mind because you said you'd be doing 7 today anyway. just a heads up. but yeah the other half does have more hype songs, i cant wait to see your reaction to them, as always!

Jungkook isn't in Boy Meets Evil. It's all j-hope. No one reads the credits...it's right there. No where has it ever been said that Jungkook participated in BME at all. Meanwhile, we KNOW that j-hope does high part vocal backing all the time. Literally all the time. It's just people STILL even post-Equal Sign don't treat j-hope like the singer he is. You know he's credited (actually credited, not made up ARMY assumptions) in the vocal gang in like 75% of BTS' discography even in vocal solo songs like Jimin's Filter? j-hope is doing the backing main and backing vocals on BME. Jungkook is not in it at all.

JK is not in Boy meets Evil, he's not harmonizing. People tend to think just cuz JK records a lot of the guide tracks for BTS they use his vocals sometimes, but Boy Meets Evil is all Hobi, it doesn't even sound anything like Jungkook. Hope is so underrated as a sub vocalist, but people never fail to mention JK as a sub-rapper. It's such a weird double standard amongst ARMY.

My favourite song on the album was Lie, it was actually one of my fav BTS songs as a whole for awhile. The vocals, the live performance, and lyrics and musical analysis alike just destroyed me. First Love is a tribute to Suga's piano: if music is the love of his life, piano was his first love. The gateway to it all.

Yoongi is a Genius in storytelling ... His FIRST LOVE = His Piano jeje If you pay attentiont to the lirics with that context, the song is much more special and deep! WINGS is a masterpice...BTW, you skip Namjoon´s- REFLECTION, that song is emotional and B E A U T I F U L !

Mama is one of the Best Live stages in the history of Bangtan. When he brings out the choir and takes us to church at the end?? Goosebumps. He's such a showman and it's so emotional and powerful. It would be cool if you reacted to the live stages for each. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I think you can see Lee Know among the dancers for Mama, right?
