I've already seen the live but just wanted to pass by to thank you and the others cause I had such a fun time today listening to the album with you all and yes, NoEasy supremacy. (also are you going to watch kingdom week after finishing the show?)

T Scott

Actually, if you look at the lyrics to cheese, although the main lyrics make a thumbs up, you actually have to pay attention to Han’s adlibs during that part. He says “thumb, index finger, ring finger, pinkie”. But they don’t translate adlibs so you have to look it up. Wait the adlibs only say thumb and index but that’s because the main lyrics say ring finger and pinkie so it makes a middle finger

just bc skz act sus together sometimes doesnt mean theyre gay.. im almost 100% sure all of skz are straight (expect leeknow)

Tiana Morgan

Noeasy is a god damn masterpiece. In my top 3 albums of all time in the entire world.

Muyaho

lmao we don't know that. Attraction isn't always a zero sum game between gay and straight.

Hannah🎸

I- why are u so sure tho 💀? Like assuming that their all gay is wrong but assuming that their all straight except leeknow is wrong too 😭 also there’s smth called bi cause u said “their always flirting with girls” not saying their straight or gay tho because we don’t know and we shouldn’t be assuming it like guessing is okay but being sure like that is lil..😭

caedi

Yes! There is something special about Lee Know and Chan's vocals. That's our leader and dance leader right there and they're flawless! 😭 Also loved your interpretation of Secret Secret. Han is my bias, and I find so much comfort in his songs and lyrics as a queer person 🥹💚

caedi

Oh, and would love to see your reaction to the Howl in Harmony song camp series, where they make the unit songs (Red Lights, Surfin' and Gone Away) It's one of my favourite series. It's so fun seeing how they made each song! And if you are looking for a Chan & Felix duet/song check out Two Kids Song 😊 It's a cute 2kr spinoff they did a while ago. Only four eps, each one is about 15 mins long!

Viviena

My favorite album of theirs hand down! I love every song on it and Silent cry is my absolute favorite!

Viviena

speculating or shipping are just fun activities that have no bearing on reality. the weird starts when people start actually "proving" that they are anything, straight or not. It's not fan's business what their sexualities are.

Mica

I support this comment haha If you would like to see how they create songs, this are one of my favorite series because you can see their brilliant minds in action. I leave the links to both series just in case howl in harmony: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2HLJ87twWI2G7OkCCQfOI6Dr-02JBbMN&si=DZPciIcmXQTU6bWe 2 kids song (like 2 kids room but creating a song) https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2HLJ87twWI3f1H4Cgs2Wi7QiIdDSv7Bj&si=0oiwDJL9YT8w80ES

You definitely need to watch Han, Seungmin and I.N on Lee Mujin service to really see how amazing their vocals are! And I really hope Chan get's invited for their next comeback

I don’t mean any hate but why does everyone want them to be gay? Some of them might be but I don’t think all of them are just bc it’s K-pop. I just don’t like assuming either way

Vera

In my opinion it's not that people "want them to be gay", it's just that people interpret their songs in their own way. There's nothing wrong with seeing the possible representation in the lyrics, since the art is meant to be perceived differently by everyone. It shouldn't matter if they are straight, gay, bi, ace or anything other than that but unfortunately society tends to be more homophobic than not. Besides assuming they are straight is the same thing as assuming they are lgbtq, so interpreting their lyrics in a "straight way" is also the same as interpreting them as gay.

Tatfitmom B

Ah i gotcha. I just see alot more of people leaning them toward a gay interpretation or shipping them alot which I know can be fun for most but I don’t care for it as much. Stray Kids try to be more inclusive so that’s why I don’t think they show many girls in their vids plus of course the kpop culture and Korean men are just more touchy anyways. I don’t care either way i was just curious why people seem to push for that

NO EASY is truly a masterpiece of an album. I obviously wasn't here for Hyunjin's hiatus but I've seen so many videos of people reacting to seeing him again that I tear up now during his part. Like i could imagine that was such an emotional moment for fans. I also saw the video of Chan watching the video and going absolutely SOFT during Hyunjin's part and it's forever emotional. I personally don't think the kids are straight but I'm not shouting in people's faces if they think differently from me. If I'm honest I ship MinSung with my whole heart. And i think binnie and chan are captains of that ship too. But enough of that. This album is full of bopperies. Including sad twerking songs 🤣😹🤣😹 I could not tell you a favorite song bcuz they're so good but cheese, thunderous, and wolfgang is definitely up there. Don't forget that you have to listen to danceracha's Wow. But this was a good reaction.

Rae

Vera covered most of what I wanted to say but to add my two cents as a lesbian: in general, I think it's perfectly normal and healthy to speculate about other people's sexualities as long as you're sensitive and don't feel entitled to an answer. straight, queer, queer and keeping it private- all of them are valid and making blanket assumptions of any kind doesn't help anyone. a lot of people definitely take it too far (and there's a lot you could say about parasocial behaviour and misogyny) and try and apply a western pov to Korean social norms but yeah. that's just how I feel about it.

Rae

Thank you for being willing to listen- and asking in the first place tbh! it's always great to see someone actually putting effort into learning and understanding things

Viviena

people who are new to fandom sometimes misunderstand shipping culture. Absolute majority of those who draw fanart or write fanfics don't actually think that's a reality, it's like imagining your favorite actors play in a drama, the actors' real life relationships or even families don't have any bearing for the roles they play. And the small percent of people who actually go around and try to say any ship is real are just like the delulu fans that think they have a shot at them themselves, it's really not a norm. xD

Tatfitmom B

Thank u. I actually like to ask so I do have a better understanding.

Lia Roslyn

I just wanted to say that the comment in the chat at 10:06 that says that they don't actually say to stick the middle finger up is actually wrong. Han's adlibs in the background DO fold down every finger except for the middle, whereas the lyrics in the foreground make a thumbs up. So they're both flipping off the haters and giving them a thumbs up.

MissCiCilaneous

The line ‘I’m not sorry, I’m dirty’ in Thunderous is a really clever play on words too. The word for sound in Korean is pronounced sori, so them saying I’m not sorry is them saying I’m not noisy and calling out all the haters who were saying SKZ is just noise music. The whole song is full of a lot of brilliant word play that just makes it even more amazing. If you wanna learn about it you should check out the channel itsANDYandJAS their break down of the lyrics of Skz songs and puns and wordplay in their songs is super cool.

Squish

Aw please react to city of stars by Chan and Felix!!

Emerald White

If you really want to hear some amazing vocals from Han, Seungmin, and I.N I definitely recommend the Lee Mujin services that they were on. They blew me away and they’re so amazingly breathtaking. Also you should definitely check out their karaoke that they did in MBCkpop. There are 2 parts and you hear amazing vocals from Chan, Han, Felix, and Changbin. Felix and Chan sang together and Changbin also sang a song with Chan and I have never heard them sing better. Those are definitely some of my favorite videos.

Mixtape : OH mean so much for stays, they dropped the song as a surprise and marked Hyunjin's return after long hiatus🍀. The relationship story on the song is part of storyline (Mixtape: On Track > B Me > Mixtape: Oh > The View)

Heather Manus

A lot of people get the idea of it being the middle finger up because the most viewed lyric video mistranslated it, saying to fold your thumb instead of index.

Heather Manus

Okay, so I also thought it was Hyunjin doing the singing and rapping in SSICK as well but everyone saying it's Han rapping, so I dived into research and during Chan's Room Episode 158 around minute 25, Chan starts to talk about it and confirms that Hyunjin sings the first part while Han raps the second part. Here's the link to the video: https://youtu.be/vWJrcO1umrs?si=OyzOpv3msuf1p8bx

Amasaden

Well the Ssick rap is confirmed to be Han, but yeah no it sounds like him too. Idk what ur hearing :v

Lee_Knowing_

I love songs like Silent Cry, deep song but sensual/upbeat sounding, love being able to dance around smiling while singing depression lyrics, it's great. Probably why I love rock/emo so much XD

Amasaden

Lol I love how so many Skz songs can be queer-read. I never thought of Secret Secret that way, but yeah I totally see it. Another big one is Sorry I Love You, I mean: I'm sorry that I like (love) you, if liking you is wrong. Bro??? I love them ;0; I Heard that last yr some ppl where getting upset at "There", cause they said girl in it. Personally I don't mind, but I do admit I appreciate that most of Skz (love) songs have gender neutral language. As a Bi I can project lol.

Amasaden

Gone Away... They had a crush on the girl, but she broke their hearts so they date each other instead! Bis rise up! xD

Angela Salazar

the performances of some of these songs are just amazing. The view is just so pretty and silent cry just makes me dance while crying.
