Han doing both his and Hyunjin's verse in Topline was legendary!

evie

yeah the 3racha performance wasn't planned, it was supposed to be all 8 of them at the festival but because of the circumstances they had to change everything last minute, they only had a couple of days to prepare their whole performance/redistribute lines and rehearse for topline etc. so proud of them for pulling through despite everything as im sure they were super worried about their members at home:( they did amazing!!!!

Map of the Soul: 7 came out in the beginning of 2020 and was supposed to be the last album BTS released before enlistment, but then obviously covid happened and they didn't have any music related plans since they were supposed to start their military service. They decided to try and cheer people up so they made Dynamite, Butter, and Permission to dance (as well as their album BE which was about pandemic life) and Dynamite was insanely popular, it was the first video to get over 100 million views in 24 hours. Because they are all English songs they like to perform them in the US a lot so it's something that basically everyone in the crowd can fully sing along to. A lot of people hated on the songs because they were all english and not deep lyrically, but that was obviously not the purpose of the songs and I imagine it must be exhausting to have to constantly make songs about heavy/deep topics for 10 years, so I'm sure at least Dynamite and Butter were a nice break for them to just make some fun/easy pop songs. I believe some members have said they didn't really want to do permission to dance because they were kind of over making purely pop songs and wanted to move on to their solo stuff, plus they were tired of the criticisms, but it's still a fun song to see them perform in concert.

The three BTS songs Jungkook performed in order were Permission to Dance, Dynamite, and Butter. Permission to Dance, the one you said you did not expect from BTS is actually written by Ed Sheeran. Dynamite is their first fully English and probably their most popular song (most viewed on YouTube and most-streamed). It was released during COVID times and I cannot even emphasize how much of a hit this song was. I'm surprised you have never heard of it because it was everywhere even in America. After Dynamite they released Butter which is also such a banger. These songs came out in 2020-2021 so it will probably take you a long time to get to it😭

Most of the stray kids songs’s demo/guide versions are sung and recorded by 3racha (maybe some other members fill in vocals) but for most songs, there’s always a 3racha version

Rzan

It was supposed to be the whole group but bc of the accident 3racha had to step up and go instead of the whole group they literally change their whole set and everything they had 3 days to fly to NY and change the Setlist and practiced for it, they smashed it

Rzan

Changbin and Han handle hyunjin and Felix rap and Chan handled the vocal line I love them

Tiana Morgan

I'm so extremely proud of Changbin's English. He starting to sound a little fluent.

Kwestleo

Yes it was raining on and off all day and it got harder when they started to perform and it was wild

Kwestleo

YES THEY GOT RID OF LONG HAIRED HAN RIGHT BEFORE I COULD SEE IT LIVE AND IM VERY FUCKING SALTY ABOUT THAT....but with that being said they all looked fucking AMAZING.

Okay, so A LOT of people left after Stray Kids performed. I know SOME wanted to stay to see JK but we had been in the rain for 12+ hours and was soaked

Channie sees all and after the announcement by JYPE that only 3racha would be performing there was much dissent online and people trying to give away/sell their tickets. This was as much about 3racha as stray kids. And the circumstances suck but getting a 3racha only performance is such a unique experience and I was even sadder I didn’t have the funds to travel to nyc. Channie has also been followed on insta by the Givenchy brand execs. You can see the percentage of that crowd are waving skzoo and getting soaked and there were definitely more stay that skzoo. The videos of people wringing out skzoo and putting them on hotel a/c vents is funny. I swear that whole audience must have been stay and army lol

I absolutely love those performances. It just shows how big a stage presence they all have, even with reduced groups. Also I'm not a fan of Seven either, it just doesn't feel like a JK song to me, even when he talks about it you can tell it's not his favourite in his album. Standing Next to You is a banger on the other hand, I love it so much.
