ahaha, commented about Kingdom but you literally addressed it one minute in! xD I LOVE this album but yeah you can clearly see them growing and improving with each new IP. To this day, honestly the each one is just better and better. HalaHala and Say my name are some of the most insane songs during concerts, they go absolutely ham on there, the choreo is SO good. And I personally really love Desire, you nailed the concept of that song even through the shitty translations. It IS about Desire itself and the first trilogy of albums is very much about "setting sails" for the big adventure, introducing the universe etc. It was a joy to watch, as always!

I'm so happy You're continuing your journey with album reviews and reactions!  I get what you mean with these first albums. They are not as cohesive as a whole, as their later releases. I also know music is subjective. For example I don't really like Desire that much, and I'm a hard Ateez stan so I won't hold it against you. Personally, I'm a casual SKZ listener and quite like their music, but I couldn't really get into it to the same degree, and that's okay. Still have a lot of their songs on my playlists.  Jongho and Yunho (2ho, as we lovingly call them) are a deadly combination... Same with Jongho and San, as you'll see in the future.  Yeosang had very few lines in earlier Ateez  songs, I'm still annoyed when I think about it - my bias line consists of Jongho, Yeosang and Hongjoong, (most Atinys have bias lines or are OT8, not many of us have only one bias). If I could recommend something for you as a fellow Jongho biased, you could watch (not necessarily react to) some of his recent solo performances, - Immortal Songs So You solo and his OST Gravity live stage - I'm constantly blown away by his talent.

Every Atiny is a Hala Hala simp, and every single live performance of Hala Hala is worth watching—seriously I never get tired of watching the demon line go crazy and San breaking all his mics. And given recent events (if interested, Google Ateez choreography plagiarism), all of us now hold a special place in our hearts for Say My Name, but no one more so than Wooyoung, who brings it up every 5 seconds lol. Plus TikToks of Mingi doing so many unnecessary hip movements in the point dance have ruined my life. I’ve mentioned this before, but think it bears repeating — pre-Fever albums, a lot of lyric vids have the singers labeled wrong, so to the extent it matters to you for your voice recognition learning, watching a live performance after a lyric vid can help reinforce who is actually singing, even if the lyrics aren’t on screen right then (at least you just read them). But of course, however you prefer! I’m 100% sure you’ll get everyone down eventually.

Someone else said this and I just wanted to second their comment because I think it's a good idea: you might want to watch live versions of some of these songs after a lyric video since they often get the voices wrong. It might help you put faces to voices for the songs that don't already have a music video. Plus, it would show another aspect of Ateez which is them as performers –– probably the most praised and most important thing about them as a group that makes ateez "ateez", if that makes sense.

As some already said but I could also recommend watching live versions or the dance practices. Specially for Hala Hala if you want to know who is who and who sings what :) and we Atiny love our Halateez 😁 Live is just another level for me personally :) Seonghwa like San is 180 degrees different almost in every stage on stage while performing. They are the kings of facial expressions and they get so much into character on stage. Amazing

Hala Hala is just so cool.. in kpop .. visuals are sometimes people’s main focus. & they just decided fuck that and completely covered their faces and forced you to pay attention to their dancing and singing for a first comeback when they were still only rookies… a groups most important time to cater to public audience .. I just think that was rlly cool and brave of them

Just to respond to some of your comments! 1. Please please read this one at least! You said you haven’t heard much of wooyoong yet but I want to warn you when you react to their first studio album,, there’s a song called Mist (a fan favorite) and the lyric video with 1.6M views & 242K views are incorrect! Choose the one with the brown concept photos,, wooyoong actually gets the Main chorus high notes With Jongho. Not San!! San was supposed to get the part but he wanted to give wooyoung a chance to show more of himself & it’s so frustrating that the lyric videos don’t show his part 2. Yunho is actually the main dancer of ateez so if you are still wondering what he brings to the group besides visuals (and now singing) watch his Solo performance video from KQ FELLAZ 3. KQ fellaz are not like a “lineup” thing,, kq fellaz are what KQ ent name their trainees (xikers was formally called KQ Fellaz 2) so he wasn’t booted or didn’t make the lineup he just wasn’t Scheduled to debut yet,, the KQ fellaz show was just training! Not like a pre-debut show if that makes sense! 4. Just small interesting facts,, From (made by kq fellaz) was produced by hongjoong, All members wrote their own lyrics and Wooyoung choreographed the song 5. If you want to hear more from yeosang I suggest listening to his “Hug Me” solo cover!! He shows how deep his voice is while also hitting really long high notes as well 6. San actually has a good range! He can hit really really low notes and very growly/gritty parts what you’d assume he’d sound like! he just can also do really high falsettos as hell

I'd add to this to watch Wooyoung's 12:45 cover! San, Seonghwa and HJ also all have solo covers, but you're looking to hear more from Wooyoung also so that cover at least gives you a bit more of him.
