im so happy you're getting into run bts they're fucking hilarious you'll have so much fun. 'i think jungkook will win this' will be a sentence you'll say often in this show i feel like lmao, especially when it comes to physical challenges and especially as the years go by and he just grows bigger. and you're right that bts are very influential for younger idols, especially 4th gen - skz and ateez. there are compilation videos on yt of bang chan mostly simping over them and talking about how much respect he has for them, it's very adorable.

You're right about bts being influential on 4th gen groups like both ateeze and skz are army lol and there are actually compliation of skz fanboying over bts especially bangchan he talk about them really often. Funfact bangchan and jimin were hanging out 3days ago 😭 and it was really crazy because bangchan was talking about jimin like 3 month ago because jimin mentioned Felix in his interview so bangchan was like “ I wanna get recognized too😭” his soo adorable plz- and now their hanging out. my two world colided and bangchan is 97 liner and most idols 97 liners have a gc and they hang out and he did mention that his friends with jk in his recent live too so yeah stayarmys are winning right now

I don’t think bts created vlive, but they were definitely the main promotional people for it at the time. (They did create WeVerse, which later bought vlive - and now all Run BTS and all livestreams happen on weverse instead). Yes, they did start the trend of having self-produced content like variety shows and travel shows (and youtube vlogs and social media accounts and livestreams….) before BTS, idols would have to get invited to variety shows by big media companies. I feel like you’re getting a really good grasp of their group dynamic already haha! And yes, Jungkook is definitely an introvert.

Yeah Vlive was built by Naver (korean Google corp basically) and they were the first group ever on it. Bubble and whatever other idol interaction apps came after. When Weverse was created by HYBE (formerly BigHit) there was a lot of tension in the bigwig dimensions of this space because BTS backed away from Vlive (a totally big to do) and started streaming there. Prior to the move to Weverse BTS had an online concert stream in association with Live Nation which started the break and they were pissed. Eventually HYBE absorbed live and it became Weverse. This leads to the continued tension between Korean broadcasting and entertainment industry in Korea although it isn't as blatant as it once was
