If I am not mistaken, the girl team later debuts as Itzy. Many call Yeji and Hyunjin the Hwang siblings even though they aren't actually related. Just same last name and similar facial features from the same label.

Chan was definitely more serious in their pre-debut days bcuz he was so nervous about not debuting and had put so much pressure on himself. The members said he was a little scary back then bcuz he definitely was tougher on them. And even though he was tough at times, he was still so supportive and comforting with them. You'll see 1st hand during this show how insanely hard that man works. It's absolutely mind-blowing! It's so nice to see him after debut with the weight lifted off his shoulders and being able to truly enjoy his job. He genuinely is the best leader and during concerts we always chant "best leader" whenever he speaks. He is so humble and always tells us to stop but of course we don't because he truly deserves the appreciation and recognition for his stellar leadership and the beautiful person he is. Get ready for the emotional roller-coaster you're about to ride 😣. It's so hard to watch this show more than once for most Stays but I really like seeing the reactions and seeing people walk away with a newfound respect for the kids and their difficult journey. Looking forward to part 2!

Yay so excited for you to watch the series! I think this show was one of my favorites to watch when getting into stray kids becuz you see all the hard work they put into debuting and how talented they were from the beginnings Also 3 of the members of the girls group are now in Itzy.

The trauma this show gave me. I’ve only watched it once cuz I couldn’t watch it again after finishing but I’ll definitely watch it with you. Just be prepared for the anxiety and trauma this show is about to give you.

Han was the first person Chan recruited to his team followed by Changbin. They were 3racha before SKZ and honestly the tracks they’ve released on SoundCloud from that time are also really good. I would totally recommend checking them out (WOW is a classic meme song and hysterical, otherwise I’d say Runner’s High, Matroshyka -although this song will come up later in the survival show-, Runner’s High, Scene Stealer, and P.A.C.E. Are worth a listen. Also it’s fun connecting their early discography to some of the 3racha songs).

I haven't watched the survival show all the way through yet, I'm looking forward to watching it with you and everyone else here. It is amazing how much tension this causes even knowing the ultimate outcome.

I think this is my 4th time watching the series again, and I'm already stressed. Even knowing how it all works out, you can't help but empathize with just how nervous they all must have been and just see how hard the trainees work (all of them, not just those that get to debut). Aside from loving SKZ and their music, I also just respect the heck out of them!

The first time I watched this was as it was actually on air. I remember watching the final ep live. I was soo damn nervous for our boys, and every time I rewatch I still find super stressful. Now, looking back, I am so bloody proud on so many levels, it’s hard to put into words. It’s going to be really fun watching along with you.

It’s mad that even know we all know the outcomes of these shows, when you watch them you still get those, “stop breathing” moments, where you are so emotionally invested, it’s takes over your whole body, physically. I’ve hurt and cried so much at these early shows 😭🫣🤭

The order in which they all joined was Chan (7 years before), Han (3 years), then I.N (2 years), Hyunjin (also 2 years), Changbin (also 2 years but much later), then Felix (1 year), Seungmin (1 year, about a week after Felix) and Lee Know (even though the show said a year, he joined only like a 3-6 months prior). Chan created 3racha not by the order they joined but because they all had passion for rap and writing (while I.N had more passion for singing and Hyunjin for dancing). Chan used to stay up late with I.N on Sundays to teach him dancing, so that he could stay in the company (I.N only attended weekend classes since his home is far). There were tons of trainees through the years (who left or were eliminated but many of them debuted in other groups), which is why Chan knows so many people outside JYP as well (like in BTOB, Monsta X, Ab6ix, Cravity, Pentagon, ONF, etc. And to them (and JYP older groups) he is like a cute little brother and it's really adorable to see how he is with them.
