I made this when I began gardening. Jumping into this world can be quite confusing and requires a lot of research when trying to resolve or figure out an issue. As I researched I took notes then made this and have updated it over time. I've found that people believe in different things so this is the most common believed issues with deficiencies.

I have not done soil tests because I have many different types of soil. Instead I just plant there and see what happens. Watching the plant over it's lifespan has giving me great insights in what nutrients are lacking.

Note this does not cover insect or disease (biotic) issues, only element deficiencies. I still struggle with them. As far as minerals this has helped me a lot in figuring out what I should do to fix issues. Example i've done tests with nitrogen deficiencies myself and can easily tell these now. I've also had issues with magnesium and iron. Magnesium on bean plants where you could definitely see the chlorosis in between veins. Iron in my grape vine where the new leaves pretty much turned white. I've not had any other experience with the others listed here, but when I see something I turn to this list and then research that subject.

Feel free to use it as a reference like I do, but don't consider it an answer to everything.

Nature is a beautiful thing. I highly suggest growing something if you aren't, it's connected me to this world much more than anything in my entire life.
