When Ignis gets called in to the school regarding Prompto's behaviour.

The school was probably expecting his flustered and often irate parents who tended to side with the school - instead they got Ignis who wanted more detail on why he had been summoned.

"Were you not aware that I am Prompto's legal contact in the absence of his guardians?" He won't say parents because in his eyes he has yet to see them fulfill any kind of parental obligation.

No Ignis - the Principal hadnt noticed that little detail. He has a son himself in Noctis and Prompto's class and he would very much like his son to befriend Noctis - however with Prompto Noct isn't looking for any closer relationships with his other classmates - acquaintances is more than enough for him.

Ignis can see right through the Principal - he's noticed that Prompto's detentions are often for very abstract failures and actions and has long thought that the Principal was just building up a 'case' about Prom's status as a school deviant.

Prom is in awe and a little in love.

Okay a lot in love.

I imagine that the Principal with decide to resign within the next week. The son will probably stay in the school - Im imagining in this instance it's more the father trying to further his social standing than another class bully.

The other boy is probably stressed and exhausted - struggles to me Prom's eyes when theyre near eachother. Muttered apologies.

Ignis for all his suspicions at the beginning now knows that Prompto excels in most of his classes, he's just perpetually up against prejudice and his grades suffer from it.

That will be Ignis' next project once he deals with the rotten apple at the top of the basket.
