Officer Iggy would not allow anyone to be treated this way but it's especially heart wrenching when it's his stray.

Prompto is not helpless but he also knows when to pick his battles and fighting Ardyn will not go well for him so he tends to take whatever punishments he doles out.

After this encounter he knows Ardyn will be gunning for him so he figures it's best for him to avoid home for a while. Which of course means he's going ot be sleeping rough for a few days.
