The most important part of this skitch for me was to make Prompto's stance look solid. I was pretty warmed up when I did this drawing so the sketch isn't complete. Noct doesnt really have feet.

I almost always add the curve for the contour of the facial features in the sketch no matter how warmed up I am

Googled ice skates around here because I couldn't for the life of me remember how they looked despite being obsessed with YOI...

I go colour by colour in the flats, with a new layer for each section which I then merge once I'm done.  Latt commented while I was doing this about how I wasnt really precious with the colours - eg:

I go way outside the area because i know i'll be hiding it as I go so theres no point being careful - but i'll keep it tidy in areas where there isn't anything beside it or potential bg under it.

Saves a lot of time

Shadows and highlights are on a layerclip. Again I just sweep it wide because it won't be seen
