Heres how i saw it going

Prince Prompto was getting a bit mouthy on human rights and all that terrible stuff

And the people LOVED him

He was pretty good friends with Luna

And then he just vanished

So Luna sent Pryna to investigate

And finds out that he's been locked up and is not being treated very kindly

So she contacts her other bff

Because this is right up Lucis' alley

So they go and rescue the Nif Prince

And you can imagine how much they didn't liek what they found

They've probably heard of Prompto

because of his efforts to change things in Niflheim

I figure their original plan was to air all of Niflheims dirty laundry

like - look what they did to their own prince

But then they develop An Attachment

so they don't want to drag him through the media like that

And they dont want to alienate him either

He's pretty traumatised by it all

I imagine he would suffer quite bad ptsd after

im torn between it being a surprise assault

liek dragged from his bed in the middle of the night, bag over his head

or staged, like an intervention

He probably always thought something bad would come of his speaking out

Then the Prince of Lucis is pulling off the bag

Helping him get out

And Gladio seems like such a brute

but he's so gentle
