Hi guys, sorry I wasn't around much this weekend, my sister was visiting and you know, I always think I'll be able to just carry on working but then I get conscious that Im a TERRIBLE host so XD I gotta hang out.

She headed home today and we had great fun.

In other news, I'm going to be getting an iPad pro. I'm pretty allergic to Apple products but you can dislike a manufacturer and still appreciate that some of their tech is amazing.

I also was refusing to buy one because i'd rather get some kind of portable wacom for the cost of an iPad Pro normally but a friend of mine works in an IT company so they got one in and were selling it off much cheaper and he is also an arty friend who has one and ive begrudgingly GUSHED about how good it is to use

So he thought of me when it came through.

I have a Samsung btw with a wacom bamboo pen and its actually great if you're looking for a more affordable digital sketchbook. Mine was bought online so I'd kind of waived my guarantee for CHEAP xD which of course meant there was an issue.

An area of the tablet has some pixels where the pen would lose sensitivity - it was only an inch squared but something like that can really throw you out of a sketch when you hit it.

Bit like hitting a pothole on a road.

You could work around it by shifting the canvas around but you never had the full run of the canvas

But yeah I love having a tablet for sketching because you can take it with you liek you would a sketchbook, but there isn't the paper build up.

Also I don't know if any of you use samsungs, but I won't have any use for the bamboo pen so if anyone wants to try it out we could do a little give away

I'm glad you had fun! And I've heard great things about the iPad Pro. I believe it can also connect with other computer monitors too so you can have multiple screens to work on (idk but it might only work on other Apple computers/tablets). Their pen is top notch! And ClipStudio still works on it (smh I wish PaintTool Sai would make a Mac version of their program :( ) I got a refurbished SurfacePro 4 (im too stuck on PC to switch lmao) after having a similar issue with pixels not working on my old tablet and it's been two years and I haven't looked back. Hands down 100% worth it. I look forward to seeing the cool stuff you make with it!

Oooh 8D if you're getting an ipad, you should try out medibang paint! It's my go-to app since the interface is so similar to desktop. (Also free, so there's that haha)
