I kind of imagine them being caught together is pure coincidence

and that Nyx doesnt know him well...yet

Lik Nyx staggering home after a night drinking

and he sees these guys breaking into a house

and he...hic...won't stand for that

And he isnt wearing his uniform so to the kidnappers he's just a hero trying to help a stranger

I kind of imagine they chain Prom to him to stop him from kicking their asses

Prom cant keep up with him so he just gets dragged along

He'd stop Prom from saying his name

so they have the element of surprise

he's clearly been targeted because of his connection to Noct

by admitting he knows Nyx would be giving away that he probable knows Noct too

And i figure Proms holding it together as best he can

which endears him to Nyx

And like when Nyx goes to attack them

He keeps Prom held against him

but it's putting prom in danger too

so he has to lay off

i wonder how long it takes for the kingsglaive and prom's friends to realize they're both missing
