Let me tell you, when that "SuYu is mine" scene happened I've never seen BL twitter so WILD. I'm not going to say how far it goes or how it navigates the censorship issues that these things have, I'll let you experience it as it happens!

I was amazed at what they were able to get past the Chinese censors. BL creators should be required to watch this series to show how you can successfully create a BL drama through glances, chemistry and dialogue.

since they had to work around the lgbtq scensorship in china they had to get creative with a lot of stuff. however it is confirmed by the director and other staff that it is a bl, they just couldn’t officially treat it as one but you will see that they’re trying to tip toe around the scensorship with a lot of scenes. it’s already clear what they feel for each other here, especially in the next 2 episodes and it will only grt clearer from there,,, they’ll just use some tricks

This episode was a perfect showcase on multiple levels (and by a number of characters) as to how love can drive you to madness. I'm not saying it's a healthy love, but the idea of love; i.e. obsession/possession. Not to imply that Wu Bi doesn't truly love Su Yu because I believe he does but being a teen in this sort of situation is definitely messy, chaotic, and confusing.
