I don't know if this helps but.....The Wen Clan is the most powerful clan currently. They have the most disciples, the largest land, most powerful weapons (including the Core Melting Hand, Wen Chao's bodyguard,who we saw in a previous episode and will see more of soon) along with the fact they will decimate any smaller clans. It also doesn't help that their current leader is obsessed with the power of the Yin Iron. Wen Qing and Wen Ning are two of my favorite characters from this series. They try their best to be good people in a really bad situation. Thank you for reacting to this series. I really love this and am glad you are giving it a chance. It's really good and I promise it gets even better!

Haha, this was the second time you said Wen Chao was cute. I didn't see it at all the first time watching b/c my cute sensor is super affected by characters' personalities. But after I finished the show and looked back on how good the actor was at making me HATE HIM, I felt super impressed with the actor, and then I found him cute. You know what actor is also cute to me that I wouldn't have guessed while watching the show? The guy who play Lan Qiren (Lan Zhan and Lan Xichen's uncle.) But that wasn't so much a personality thing as his grey beard making me think he was older than he was and hiding his face. 😁

Great reaction Javi! ❤️ Wei Wuxian reciting the Gusu Lan Rules instead of the Wen ones is seriously one of my most favorite moments in the show. It's so ballsy, it manages to slight the Wen, to pay a tribute to the Lan as the real educational Sect, and to show Lan Wangji that despite all his complaining of the 3000+ rules of Gusu, Wei Wuxian actually bothered to learn them, ALL AT ONCE. It's such a power move. That giant dog is quite literally Wei Wuxian's worst nightmare come to life, since he used to be chased by dogs when he was little and on the streets. The scene is painful to watch >.< The bit of discussion at the end between Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian (about helping Lan Wangji or no) is really interesting because it illustrates their (already) differing conception of duty and protection (to oneself and one's family versus to the weak). And YES, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji looking at each other is LOVE ❤️😍
