For me the way Ray acted was very understandable. His ex cheated on him and also never really wanted to be seen with him, they only went out to eat that was it? So for A-Jiang to propose to go eat something, that probably made him think back. I love those two (and the mains, of course), it's a bit sad to see them get so little screentime...

Ray's reaction is understandable, but in the way you can see that he IS indeed young and still high school kid. He is the least the mature of the quartet, which is not bad, but like the others, has room to grow. I do like that Ye Guang knew best how to woo his best friend out of a bit of a angst spiral.

I LOVED how Xu QiZhang didn't get angry at Ye Guang for what he said in the argument. He knew he didn't actually mean it and he was just upset. And then Ye Guang knowing it was wrong and apologizing later on. These high school kids are more mature than most adults in BLs.
