Paul is right that regular folks are relegated to fighting over crumbs in our current system and that things aren't getting any better. But non-participation isn't obstruction. What Paul is doing isn't producing a revolution any more than what the next guy is doing, voter or not. Obstruction requires effort, not sitting comfy at home on election day. Just abstaining from voting isn't going to produce revolution, any more than just voting. Not voting doesn't keep politicians from being elected. But yeah, "the squad" voting for Pelosi is BS when their few votes have a definite chance of seating someone more left and more populist as speaker.

It just makes me so mad that Paul cares about our economic and environmental problems. I am also terribly disappointed that Paul hasn't solved all these problems for us.

These three split a bare minimum of 25,000 dollars a month, and they dare say "we" are getting "paltry" checks. Fuckers make 10 times my salary in ONE month (or more, I don't know the ratio of 10 dollar subs)! You have no right to complain over stimulus checks AND include yourselves in the equation!

The stimulus amount isn't determined by any means testing so what folks making 8K a month are getting is the same as what the rest of us will get.

Steve bannon got arrested for taking donations to build the wall and then not actually build it, only in tiny sections to show off and those parts of the wall are already collapsing and there are videos of people easily hopping these 'walls'. I don't think Biden will continue the wall, its an embarrassment to the US and Steve Bannon and his contracting goons were making tons of money from it because they were illigally using the funs for personal expenses and now they are arrested. So for sure Biden will not finish the wall, it is extremely unpopular with the entire democratic base.

I like hearing Paul describe to no end his desire for absolute seclusion from the outside world due to total disgust with our current way of life, and relishing in his own laziness and apathy, while at the same time advocating for a fantastical reality where the American electorate “wakes up” and ultimately destroys the current government, and all of the people who hold the most financial and judicial power. Paul needs to advocate for what he truly believes, which is violent revolution, even if it sounds extreme, because right now he’s giving up and having a fantasy of unionized action. I agree with Paul that other ideas need to be explored, but TJ is ultimately right that the only way forward is working within our current system, no matter how impossible it is. TJ pulls the blue lever, and Paul pisses on all levers and gives you a rambling, confused 3-hour utopian fantasy. Scotty, I like how you stand on these issues.

I work at starbucks, and im sad to say that anything that comes in a trenta size is relatively "Healthy", because if it were really unhealthy we wouldn't sell it in that size. TJ is right that we are absolutely as unhealthy as other fast food obesity factories. Gingerbread isn't around anymore. The juice drinks "Dragon drink" "Pink Drink" exct are really high in sugar and they are sold in trenta sizes. Trenta cold brew isn't terible for you because cold brew in itself is mostly water. Obviously the crux of starbux being a healthy option, aside from the fact that caffeine is almost as addictive as nicotine, is all the added sugars people get in their bean-water-tea. Espresso drinks are mostly steamed milk, which isn't great, but isn't terrible. Paul is right, the frappachino's and creme frapps are almost no caffine and all milk and sugar. In my time as a barrista , about a year and a half, i have seen people going from healthy-looking to obese. However to tie it back to scotty and his comments on culture and pimpmonk, culture is everything. In san francisco people made an effort to understand what was in the drink and how we made it, but in Vegas most people just get whatever taste the best putting the unseen debt on the future them

I enjoy Paul rage ranting for one hour and ten minutes without taking a breath, when I am watching his channel and know that's what I'm in for. He has an entire YouTube channel he can do that on. It is getting to the point now that he is clearly dominating these DFF episodes and TJ and Scotty just sit back and don't take control.

Their not being dirt poor doesn't mean they aren't affected by COVID and it doesn't mean they have no right to use the word "we" (as in "we who are not multi-millionaires.) Instead of trying to compete in the Suffering Olympics, maybe you should be getting mad at the people who decided your tribulations across the last 3/4 of a year are only worth a meager six hundred bucks. My household pulls in as much per month as one of the hosts does, and I'll feel ripped off if I damn well want to, because I was; we all were. And yes, in an ideal world. they should be making payments based on severity of impact; but the world is far from ideal and payments needed to be made as fast as they could be. To sit down and do the calculus on who deserves what would have prolonged the wait even further; so a flat payment makes sense.
