I always preferred to fly a plane/spaceship and blow stuff up with my quarters. So when I saw both of those movies in my mid 20's I did not know the lore. Street Fighter seemed to me that they knew it was camp. From what I remember almost everything was played for comedy. Mortal Kombat was legit good adventure shit. I mean just a good saturday matinee fun movie. Sure it would have been better with blood and tits. Everything is better with blood and tits. But I accepted it for what it was. It wasn't a bad ride. But like I said I know nothing of the lore.

It’s a platform fighter but it doubles as a party game..Like you can play it super casually but there are actual competitive rule sets and tournaments.I play it competitively so I like it better that way but there’s plenty of people who just play it as a multiplayer party game.
