Wish i was there dammit had some intriguing questions meh ill ask here lol Like for example the The point on Nazis. Shouldn't we fight them on the bases of causing mass genocide and demonizing those that are a different color, race and or physical capabilities. Shouldn't we as a species outlaw this ideology of " The Arian perfect race and anything inferior needs to be destoryed even if it means killing. The second question is is it maybe not so much an excuse that people willingly pay taxes for a government they dont support for wars and such but most could be stuck and or worried about what happens if they do speak out and or worried they can be outcasted from society. Look at what happened when students wanted to do a walk out in a outcry due to school shootings, the school threatened to suspend those that walked out. I feel like yes there are those that are lazy and unwilling to give up their safety and such yet would you say also that some can be stuck in the complex web of our society's construct? I do fully agree if people in a great mass dont go to work, dont engage in war and circulate our society then that would grind the whole the governent to a holt but will it happen as people dont generally trust each other.

I get Nationalism is empty, but so is a person who thinks capitulating to Nazi Germany rather than fighting them is a sane or morally superior option. Please tell me that wasn't what Paul was saying. Because my respect for him would drop dramatically at that point. Cynicism seems wise in a era where our wars in America are always dark and political, and woven in half-truths or outright lies, but I think defending yourself against hostility requires no justification. Nationalism serves a purpose and so does war. The virtues and vices inherent in both things are fairly obvious. Salty Paul gets extra retarded sometimes particularly when he tries to moralize. Whats missing is Pauls humility in acknowledging he is acctually complicite in these systems of violence that he bemoans. He wears clothing made by people in slave like conditions, He purchases furniture made from materials gathered from decimated forests in South America, and he relies on the monopoly of violence being in judicious hands, because by all appearances he doesn't seem to have any ability to defend himself or his loved ones in a fight if it came to that. He lives as he does because the society he lives in allows him to export violence, and as a result he can behave as if he is an outside observer even as he grows fat, and soft off the fruits of violence. His righteous indignation is comical, and pathetic. This "us and them" thing can be infuriating and idiotic, but he himself is guilty of it. My question is how is Paul deviating his own behaviors and habits in rebellion to these things, besides just flapping his lips? Are you going to stop your indulgences because of the violence that it causes world wide? Probably not huh? Well what does that say about your fake outrage? I don't want to lose respect for Paul because I would start to enjoy listening to him a lot less. If I wanted to hear hypocrites expound on how they think the world aught to work Id listen to Shawn Hannity. I don't expect him to care, just expressing my hope he hasn't gone full retard.

Paul, you're just not being realistic. You're taking such a childish view on the whole subject of war and violence. What if some loss of life now, prevents greater loss of life later? Would more lives really have been preserved if the Nazi's took over Britain? Look at what happened in the other places they occupied. Mass executions, death camps, genocide, repression. You think if Britain, or the rest of the world for that matter, just surrendered to Nazi rule they would have been spared? I think the most unjustifiable thing in that situation would be to welcome the Nazi's in, knowing that they were going to kill your fellow humans, but likely pass over you.
