Dude, Marcy Playground is only a one hit wonder if you know literally nothing about music. Their self-titled album is all fire. It's true that Sex and Candy was very popular, but their other songs got play too.

Harvey Danger is one of my favorite bands and has been for a long time. All of their albums are super distinct and the vocalist is a majorly talented writer who went on to write professionally as a music journalist. I would recommend either Sad Sweet Heart of the Rodeo or Little Round Mirrors for a good idea of their progression as a band from a punky-alt rock band with ironic lyrics to a Beatles-esque musical group with sweeping melodies and crazy cool piano arrangements
