the thirsty Tinn scenes at the beginning are hilarious. Gemini is great at comedy so it's good to see him being able to do more comedic scenes. angry Tiw and drunk Gun are also really funny. then the 2nd half of the episode is the sweet stuff. when Tinn comes through the doors at the concert and they see each other, my heart. Also, was gonna comment, your friend skipping to the "bl scenes" is so funny to me, i get skipping to the gay scenes in a "straight" show, but in a bl show? it's all BL! lol. also, i could be wrong but i thought them not kissing in kinnporsche was because of the age gap more than anything

I didn't get to watch your reaction to ep 7 until today (I've also had a very busy week haha), so I thought I'd say something quick about that one too in this comment, especially in regards to Yo and his storyline. whilst I'm on the same page with not liking the storyline too much, I do think I understood it a little more when rewatching it, especially with how it fits into one of the running themes of the episode: insecurity. whilst Yo says he used Tinn's picture due to the club rule forbidding them from dating, which probably is true to some extent, it is also quite obvious that he used it because he wasn't confident enough to use his own. he said later on in the episode that he made the account when he was feeling very down on himself because of his seemingly lacking skills with the guitar and "he just wanted some support", and there's a reason he chose the school president, one of the most popular guys in school and someone more conventionally attractive than himself for the profile picture. and then him feeling underdressed and outshined during the date itself probably didn't help..! there were other people feeling insecure and not exactly being their best selves because of it in the same episode, such as Gun feeling insecure for having Tinn hit on him without being able to reciprocate in any way and him fearing he might lose him to someone else because of it, making him act very jealous over something seemingly nonsensical and small, and there was also Win feeling insecure and jealous of Yo for having someone be interested in him when he himself has never experienced that, making him want to keep the rule in place seemingly out of spite and being very grumpy about it all whilst flirting with a girl himself as soon as the opportunity showed itself. not saying this excuses Yo's behaviour of course, what he did was very different than Gun and Win, and they could have gone about keeping that storyline in a way that was, as you said, "a little less creepy", but I see what the writers were trying to do with it and just wanted to point it out! sorry this was a bit long when this comment wasn't even on that episode... now, as for episode 8, I gotta agree with some other commenters that it's definitely one of my favourites of the series. I'm sure others have already pointed out the scenes in particular, but the night walk around school, the pool scene, the return of Tinn’s overactive imagination, the drunk scene, the little insights into Sound's character and the SoundWin moments (which I didn't care for too much at first, I have to admit, but they definitely grew on me later on), and especially the shot of Gun's face absolutely /lighting up/ when he spotted Tinn in the crowd! it was a bit of a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, similar to Sound softly smiling at Win and then quickly neutralising it when Win looks back at him, but seeing the pure joy on his face just for Tinn being there was such a nice thing to see. oh and I'd say the canon reason for them not actually kissing in the dressing room there (because the actors' ages technically doesn't have anything to do with the characters themselves, they could have ex. done a smart-angle kiss if they wanted to like in MLC) is that they're not officially dating yet. Tinn playfully uses the term boyfriend to describe himself earlier in the ep, but they keep finding loopholes around actually defining their relationship so it /technically/ doesn't break the club rule, and I think one thing that makes them both keep more of a good conscience about what they're doing is really keeping their relationship in that flirty stage before you're /actually/ a couple, so things like kisses would be fully crossing the line instead of toeing it like they are now. and I think they both would want their first kiss together (at least at this point in the story) to not be something they'd have to feel guilty about... and it kinda works as a motivator for winning Hot Wave too haha

no, it's because Barcode (Chay) was a minor when filming. there's plenty of other BL couples with quite large age gaps that kiss, but in those cases both actors are adults.
