Glad you started this show, Liam! I hope you react to the spinoff as well when the time comes! You're not watching the HD remaster, right? I'm glad. It's well known in the fandom they did such a crappy job I myself can not put it into words, but there are videos in YouTube explaining the whole thing if you want to take a look. Things like not adding filters, changing scenes from night time to daylight, crew appearing in the sides or weird closeups cutting off important details that should be seen, and many more things. The creators of the show themselves were raging. Loved your reaction to the first twist! XDDD Buffy gets actually episodic at times, especially at the beginning. It's true the first season is by far the weakest. My personal all time favourite character is in this show. Not telling you who yet because people always think by doing so I'm making spoilers! >_< Thank you so much, Liam! I really really enjoyed this reaction a lot!!

Buffy!! MY FAVE!! id literally argue its the best-written teen TV show.. I'm just so excited for you to experience this for the first time literally so excited for you!! What is nice is while there are episodic moments they still build the characters and the monsters a lot of them are actually metaphors for teen struggles and what buffy experiences. There is so much to read through those episodic moments and the series paved the way for alot of vampire fiction. Its clear vampire diaries were very influenced by it in some aspects. Also what's nice about Buffy Herself is she is one of the most likable protagonists in all of TV IMO she goes through a lot in the show. Right in this first episode shes spunky, fun-loving, and caring super easy to root for right away. The other characters are just as superb im very excited to see the future!! Sorry for book but I did promise id be here in the comments as it's my favorite show of all time xD I'm excited to see how you'd rank the seasons because everyone's favorites are different. Also, some fun trivia they did make the vampires turn to dust so they didn't have to worry about explaining where the vampire's body's go and the makeup for the vampires was actually done so they didn't look like humans when Buffy was killing them because they thought it would look fucked up if they looked human xD

Oh your reaction to the woman being the vampire was pretty hilarious! Love how the shows plays with expectations, showing the woman act scared and looking around while the guy was cocky, and then gave us this twist. Your disappointment at not recognising Uther was funny too. Fun fact, Bradley James (Arthur) was a huge Buffy fan and he was so over the moon working with Anthony Head, kept asking about Buffy anecdotes on set 😁 The cast of characters is quite strong. Love Buffy, she's a very interesting character from the start. One thing I also love in these old shows is that there were live bands really performing during the nightclub scenes. Charmed had that a lot too. The soundtrack for Buffy is pretty cool, I've got the CD for the first 3 seasons soundtrack 😁 This is going to be quite the journey, can't wait for more 😁😁
