This episode is a bit slow paced compared to the rest of the series, but it makes sense as Porsche needs his time to process the sudden involvement of his parents in the story. Once again it's Chay the character that wins me over. His reaction to Kim's betrayal was relatable to me. I love how surprised Kim was when Chay didn't just allow him to take him out of the pub, as Kim was used to his more indulgent fanboy side and didn't even know stubbornness defines Chay better. But I think what hurt him the most was Chay's affirmation that Kim has no right over him. Which is of course true, but hearing him saying it makes real the fact that their relationship is definitely over. I kind of appreciated the bondage sex scene between Vegas and Pete just because I didn't expect it at all. I've never seen that in a BL, and I highly welcome anything that makes a love scene unique. I also read some comments of fans saying Pete is into electro sex toys (reason why he was constantly walking around his room without pants). In the very last episode there's a post credits scene. Please, don't miss it. Loved your reaction to the photo!! XDDD And well, I just love it when reactors don't think there's going to be a plot twist in the episode :P Thank you so so much!! ^^

So, to put it simply, the VegasPete relationship is...polarizing in the fandom and online. Some people do NOT like it because of the extreme violence and abuse Vegas put Pete through and consider the relationship forever abusive or nonconsensual. Some people are fine with it because they enjoy dark and toxic romances a la Hannibal and Will or Eve and Villanelle from the "Killing Eve" series and are willing to engage with the abusive and non-con aspects in good faith. There is a small, third group of people who like the romance but are actively ignoring/denying the abuse aspects of it which I find concerning sometimes. Also, to a lesser degree, I find that this denial of the abusive/torture-filled reality of their dynamic is weirdly a disservice to both Vegas and Pete's complex character arcs. Liking the storyline or hating it are completely understandable reactions as everyone is always allowed to feel how they feel about an artwork or piece of media. I don't judge people for anything like that. Personally I don't have a problem with dark, toxic romances. I can even enjoy them. I like all kinds of stories and characters as I'm interested in fiction writing. So, for VegasPete, I fall more on the "fascinated by this" and the "intrigued about where it's going" side. At this point in the story, nothing that has happened has outright bothered me as every action between Vegas and Pete makes sense within the narrative for their established characters. I will say this, Vegas and Pete was definitely planned from the jump and if you re-watch earlier episodes, there are scenes that hint at this result for them. (Personally, I wish there had been about 2-3 more scenes to flesh the storyline out but hindsight is 20/20 and all that.) In the original novels, KinnPorsche and VegasPete are the two biggest relationships and it can be argued that Kinn, Porsche, Vegas, and Pete are the main characters. This is why this back half of the season has focused so heavily on Vegas and Pete. KimChay is obviously another pairing, as well as TimeTeh (Kinn's friends). I would consider those characters secondary or even tertiary. KimChay has been explored to a certain degree but TimeTeh's relationship and where it's going has not been explored in this show until this episode where we get some very brief hints from Teh about what he's feeling. I won't go into that anymore to avoid spoiling you. Let's just say, they have more story in the novels than has been shown in this show so far. I believe their story was not explored to save on time constraints for the season.

There is still a lot to discover surrounding Porsche's parents and it's good that you don’t trust Korn’s words that easily and think it was sus of him to give up his friends he’d protected up to that point. One thing that I learnt watching Thai dramas is to always doubt and question everything and everyone, no one can be trusted. The family picture raised new questions and at that point I was watching as the show aired so there were quite a few theories online. I stayed aways from novel related posts because of spoilers. I can't wait for you to find out more about it. It was so adorable when they did the re-introduction where they met ❤️ Again when I started watching this series, I never expected that these two would have such sweet and adorable moments. Kinn cooking was a new level of adorable !!! When he set the carbonara on the table, can't help being reminded of the "carbo-narak" scene fron Vice Versa (narak means cute). Vegas and Pete this episode again had interesting scenes. I was still torn about them. One thing I have to say though is that despite how non consensual everything leading to that point was, the sex scene was not. Pete wasn't bound and he initiated their first kiss leading to the rest, also, the way they showed, through their acting with their eyes and without words, how every step was consensual. Both Bible and Build did an amazing job acting in this scene. Only 2 episodes left but hopefully more behind the scenes reactions to follow 😊 and the extra of the cast acting as other characters, that one is so fun! If you have the subscription it’s the special episode after episode 2 and the 2nd special clip.
