And the start of The Red Dragon!! (this isn't a spoiler, since they say this in the opening credits somewhere, but "The Red Dragon" is actually the novel that Hannibal the series is actually based on. And they've finally reached the book they based the show on in the 3rd season! its amazing the differences and how much more interesting and in depth Bryan made Hannibal and Will's relationship in this series) I'm curious if they didn't have to condense down the season, if we would've gotten some stuff about Hannibal's trial because... I am SO curious what was said during that trial, especially by Hannibal and Will. Like it's one of those things the fandom has always been curious about, what the trial was like. And then skipping three years and now Hannibal is alone in The Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane and Will is... off married with a step-kid. He has certainly moved on... with his own "perfect family". Love how Hannibal sent Will a letter and Will, instead of just... tossing it in the fire right away, kept it. Wonder how many letters Hannibal has sent over the years and if Will kept any of those to read before tossing them in the fire. I do like the conversation that Will and Molly have about him going and how he's going to be "different" when he gets back. We know what Will means, but I don't think Molly does. Will managed to put all this behind him... supposedly, but for someone who has supposedly done that, he sure was quick to agree to jump back in. And quick to agree to go see Hannibal. Re: psychopath vs sociopath. there is a lot of debate on these terms, but overall, I think most ppl agree that they are different (albeit slightly) different things. Psychopaths were, however, born with the inability to feel emotions, whether not having any at all, or just having few. But while psychopaths tend to be a bit more in control of themselves and also think things through, sociopaths are very quick to anger and are very impulsive. Since this is Hannibal, I'll put it in the terms that a serial killer (so a person who kills 3 or more people over the course of a long period of time) is probably more likely to be a psychopath, but a spree killer (a person who kills 2 or more people over a short period of time at different locations) is more likely to be a sociopath. Saying that however, most psychopaths aren't actually violent. Psychopathy is a, uh, great trait for people who want to go into business. But they're more likely to be able to control themselves than a sociopath. Hannibal, as they've put it in the series a few times, there just isn't a name for whatever he is. That's kinda why I think he's such a fun character though. He doesn't really fit into the boxes that we're used to thinking of when we think of serial killers. Though, that is because he's just a fictional character, lol

This show has spoiled me rotten. If you watch the Hollywood movies of this story (and the others) you'll be disappointed with the cinematography and presentation. Everything just looks so uninteresting. I do enjoy the movies though. They are more accessible to a wider audience. Just crazy an NBC show can be so superior to a high budget movie
