Agree with what you said about Ted. I like him aswell, in spite of his mistakes. I like all the charachters in spite of their (many) mistakes.

Oh the feels are real for Barney and Robin!!!! I really liked Zoe, she was a good addition to the cast this season and her arc was well done. It was sad when they broke up but expected as well. As you said, the episode was well executed. Zoe keeping the tape all this time definitely proved she didn't fully trust Ted... Also I agree, the gang should totally bye a bar! Second episode is great, love the scene in the cab between Robin and Barney when it's clear they're not talking about Ted and Zoe... the feels, they're real !!! Lily being sick because she's pregnant, the best part was Marshall's reaction, so pure after his breakdown... Nora coming back was great too, I really like her character. But Robin broke my heart at the end... The Barney reveal at the end ! I mean yeah, there were hints but back when I first watched the finale, I was surprised. As for Ted, as a whole he’s a good character with flaws, there are times (more like certain episodes) I don't particularly like him but he also has good moments and one thing we can all agree on is that he really cares about his friends, all of them. Great reactions (especially the Barney and Robin bits) and can't wait for next week 😊😊

Loved the talk you had about Ted not being perfect, as it shows the bad with the good, and in my opinion, that's how it should be. The show goes out of the way time and time again to show that no-one's perfect. Without revealing anything, you will probably have people saying to watch the alternate cut when you get to the last episode, but in my opinion that undermines the whole show. Because people view the alternate cut as perfect, and the original cut being imperfect, when in fact, the ending being imperfect fits with the rest of the show. Not saying I don't like the alternate cut, I just think that it should be watched after the original cut.
