There is so much I want to say and so much I can't say because I don't want to accidentally say something that gives anything away, especially as someone who has been a HUGE Hannibal fan since 2013 (started watching it JUST after season 1 finished airing so I've been there almost since the start) and has rewatched it a few times since then. I've had a lot of time to think about these characters, read a lot of fan theories, but I do want to say your understanding of these characters is really so good, especially for your first time watching. You seem to pick up a lot of things that most people don't pick up on their first watch which really shows how much you're paying attention and how much you like the show which I appreciate a lot. That sex scene... yeah, that one gets talked about a lot. The way they do sex scenes in this show, very artful. A total trip. They had it looking every which way, Will/Alana, Hannibal/Alana, Wendigo (Hannibal)/Will (and then ofc Margot off in reality somewhere ofc)--looked like a merging of Will & Hannibal both playing Alana I guess. Freddie is one of those characters that are hard to *like* but you also have to appreciate. She's very smart. I think she's also a character a lot of people see as like just this bad person, but I think she geniunely cares about catching murderers, I certainly believe her when she says that about Abigail's death "even if I let this story go, I'll never let that go". She's very calm in tough situations so I think a lot of people generally think she's just as psychopathic as some of the murderers on the show, but I think that's just her survival instincts kicking in. With the scene with Will she's clearly terrified. You have some questions towards the end that I can't answer... I think after the next episode I CAN answer them so hopefully I'll remember to do that. I won't speak much on Will this time purely because, as I already said, there's a lot I want to say but can't so I will save that for the upcoming episodes. Hannibal though.. he looks so pleased!! Oh and that dinner date with Will, Hannibal, and Alana... honestly one of my favorites. Alana truly feels so out of place. Felt more like a date between Will and Hannibal and Alana was just third-wheeling than anything else. Will comes across very off-putty. it's absolutely hilarious, "*we* know where we stand with each other. isn't that enough?" indeed it is WIll... indeed it is.
