Farscape has such a great balance of drama and crazy fun eps! Another series does a fantastic job of balancing real great drama with crazy fun is Orphan Black, you would love that too! This ep was written by Ben Browder. But it was written to just be a straight forward ep and they were unhappy with the finished project, so it got shelved for awhile but Ben kept workin at it. It wasn't until he came up with this fast cut/egit version that it finally worked. I love this ep! It's definately one of my fave crazy fun ones! Also Ben Browder's wife make another fantastic apperance as the alien that scams D'argo and John. She was the bone eater in S1 and the servant girl alien that sells John out to Scorpy in Kiss The Princess where John got turned into a statue. She has a upcoming roll that is my absolute fave of hers in the entire series. There are a ton of great bts stuff for this ep, maybe some of the other Farscape fans here can share some that I've forgotten. Haha now you understand my sad face when we got the Farscape "delay" post lol I always look forward to this ep during rewatches...Love Harvey so much!

The one thing Farscape does better than just about any other show out there is character growth. Characters change in both dramatic and subtle ways throughout the series, and even wacky episodes like this one feed into that growth and change. The buddy comedy/drama between Crichton and D'Argo is so good. And it isn't static. It evolves over time in a very natural way. Next up, an absolutely fantastic two-parter!
