There wasn't a Hotdog in the og series, but the actor who plays Hotdog (Brody Olmos) is Edward James Olmos son..so that may be one of the reasons he's still around lol

It's funny that you talk about romance not being one of the strong suits of BSG considering Ronald D. Moore is producing one of the most romantic shows out there right now called Outlander. But I know what you mean, from appearances, all the relationships are kind of fucked up if you think about it. My favorite on this show will always be Adama and Roslin. As far as Lee and Starbuck goes, I don't think anyone is meant to take away that this is a healthy relationship at the end of the episode. I mean, they just beat the crap out of each other and then embraced. Also, they got married to different people for all the wrong reasons. I was around when this show first aired and Ronald Moore's wife would post in the forums all the time. I remember her going off on Starbuck after this episode for hurting Lee and marrying Sam under false pretenses. It was quite a hoot getting her opinions on the show.
