Farscape had a huge following, still does. It was loved by critics and fans, which is rare. When it was cancelled without warning at the end of S4, and was left on a CRUSHING cliffhanger, one of the biggest in tv history (just wait till you see how S4 ends) the fans lost their minds! I think a bunch of K'Dargo cosplayers even rioted in Australia (where it was filmed) lol It may be the first example ever of fans saving a show. Remember this was before all the social media platforms we have today. I think Myspace was the big thing at that time. So the fans went on a 2 yr letter writing and email campaign and meetups/Farscape cons, to get the story finished, the campaign slogan was "We are Frascape" and for those 2 yrs we worked hard and kept hope alive! After 2 yrs it paid off and SYFY announced a 3 part miniseries "Peacekeeper Wars" to finish the story. To everyone's delight it turned out amazing!! "Peacekeeper Wars" was so much more than I dared to hope for, It's a fitting and proper end to the saga. Can't wait for next week!

Poor Moya. She is always getting beat up, isn't she? John's obsession with wormholes is definitely a problem at times. This two parter does have some big events and big impacts on the crew. Looking forward to you watching the second half.

Star Trek: The Original Series is generally sited as the first successful fan campaign, but Farscape felt like an even bigger miracle in some ways. It was super popular with fans and critics, but being on the SciFi channel (before it became SyFy) its audience was relatively small by the standards of the day. That it got 4 seasons and a concluding mini-series is pretty impressive. I don't want to ruin season 4, but let's just say that the ending was a doozy and it would have been tragic if we had not gotten The Peacekeeper Wars to wrap it up.

This two parter is super intense - can't wait to see your reaction to the next ep! The next couple of episodes to follow are fantastic and pretty full on as well.
