I actually really enjoy this movie, more because I love the music and it's a good movie to watch if you just want something to boost you up a bit. I actually saw it at the cinema (don't judge me it was girl's night out) and it was pretty enjoyable and fun. Abba's songs are good too and when I was younger I used to dance to a lot of their songs. Is it the best musical ? Nope, but it's enjoyable. If you're curious about the past, the second movie actually explored that. The young actress for Donna is pretty good (she's played by Lily James who you may know from Downton Abbey, she's Lady Rose McLare). Personally, I prefer the first one but the second one is quite fun too. As musicals go, I love both the silly ones and the more serious ones. Rent and Once have to be my 2 favorite musicals I think. This was a fun reaction no matter how you felt aout the movie. I do agree though, the last act is a mess.
