This ep was beautiful! I'm so conflicted when it comes to akito I hate her but seeing the way she handles things really is interesting to see, The way she attacks the women to keep the male zodiac close to her and she seems to have this almost child like capacity when it come to right and wrong. Almost like she doesn't understand why her actions are pushing people away. She does horrible things but for some reason always questions why they are beginning to leave her. She seems to lash out like an angry child would when they aren't getting their way. I like how kureno still stands up to akito and you can even feel that he has some sort of dominance over her albeit very small, But its a nice touch. she is just such an interesting and complex character to follow. But damn I still hate her. Rin and Haru just EVERYTHING! I literally choked up again watching this reaction just now because how powerful that was. I got chills when he left akito. Just seeing these characters break away from her and when he hesitated and almost went back kureno just told him to leave. You can tell he cares so much for the others and to see these characters get their independence is truly incredible and the build up makes these payoffs so worth it. This season has blown me away so far. I hope they can keep this up, this could go down as one of the best adaptations ever made.
