Gah! this episode was so GOOD! Fruits basket is legit just a masterpiece! I adore getting more into Akito and Shigure, seeing this extremely complex and toxic relationship with each other. them both attacking each other really shows that, shigure is such a fantastic character because he has this really seething personality under this nice façade that is so interesting to learn about slowly and patiently. I love how this series is not afried to be dark and treat the audience smartly. I feel so bad for kureno i find his character to be one of the most tragic. Being trapped by this person he himself cant let go of, and knowing akito just uses him as a substitute for her love of shigure. So many interesting layers! and finally MY SHIIIIPS Kyo and Tohru are just everything!!! i was just fangirling so much I LOVE KYOO! cant wait for next week! as a manga reader finally getting these scenes animated is just a dream come true!
