So 1. Kurama still made that choice with no idea the kid could come back. His character choice was not reverted at all nor the emotions he felt only the kids life changed. 2. Sensui has plotted this whole thing. He purposely had the kid loose his life we know that and he did it knowing Jr. Would revive him due to Jr being guilt striken this whole time and it would weaken the mature so Sensui wouldn't be trapped. It makes sense why and still doesn't revert Kuramas choice. It would be one thing to literally rewind time or tell kurama right after he made the choice or during. But we see and are told he is still dealing with it during the toguro fight part 2 and releases that anger on toguro. So to me reviving the kid doesn't change anything even if he was kept dead barely anything changes.

Yeah, I agree. I understand his point about Togashi, or at least his editors, being a bit scared of killing characters off in YYH (except for villains) but at least when they come back to life he knows how to make it logical from a writing POV. Game Master coming back to life didn't bother me that much because of all you said; Kurama still made the choice and Sensui had planned it all along for Game Master to come back. The latter is also a demonstration of Togashi's writing capabilities which, if anything, makes me respect him much more. Making Game Master's revival into an actual key story element (Jr's pacifier losing power which benefited Sensui) is very good writing. It's a shonen from the 90s so characters will come back from the dead at some point (or smt similar), at least Togashi knows how to not make it feel like a complete cheap asspull for no reason other than bringing that character back from the dead.
