Naren Shankar, The Expanse showrunner, was the showrunner for S2 of Farscape, and this is one of the eps he wrote for S2.

No other show manages to switch from totally ridiculous to totally serious and heart wrenching the way Farscape does, sometimes even within the one episode, but somehow still work so well. I think a lot of it is the absolute commitment of the actors to their roles that really sells it. Like their interactions with the puppet characters of Pilot and Rygel that just makes you forget they aren't real!

"Crackers Don't Matter" and "The Way We Weren't" are two of the best season 2 episodes. Next we get a run of more traditional (well as traditional as Farscape gets at any rate) episodic stories (but the season long arcs will start becoming more apparent) for a bit. I can't wait for the last five episodes of the season, which are pretty much one great big giant insane story arc.
