The rock song playing during the scene where Blair and Chuck kiss at the Saints and Sinners party is by Taylor Momsen’s band The Pretty Reckless. She’s the lead vocalist and I think she’s really good. It was also featured in the film Kick Ass.

I wouldn’t say very good. More like worse and less plot layered. S1-3 each episode, each scene was relevant to the storyline. Moving forward you literally can just pull a few scenes from each episode and be caught up. Granted, there are a couple episodes with more but limited to season finales or openers. Watching your reaction to this show have been so spot on I think your going to need a bit of motivation to get to season 6 which returns back to the series beginning drama rush fully packed joy format! I just think the episodes seriously lack the writing quality and focus to much on product placement. Harder to relate to the characters moving forward in a way too. Still a big fan thou. Have to say, you have to be a great actor to pull off some of the writing in S5. Props to Ed and Leighton for keeping the audience through this period. They’re the only reason the show wasn’t canceled sooner.
