Zhaan is such a great character. Her arc and her relationship with John are wonderful. Honestly, this show ultimately contains some of all time my favorite character work in scifi. They are so flawed and beautiful and sad and joyous in ways that few other shows really capture. There is also a theme of how all of the aliens interacting with John are fundamentally changed by those interactions in ways that they likely never would have been without him. John brings a sense of child like wonder and passion for saving others that upsets the tenets of everyone else's beliefs. He is a pebble cast into the swirling pond of this alien corner of the universe and his influence ripples through it in an outsized way. Can't wait until you get into the end of this season and the beginning of next. Seasons 2 and 3 are some of the best scifi out there, period.

Got warn that season 1 starts off slow but the show doesn't kick off till the second half yet already im loving it so excide for season 2 and onward if it gets better. having the fantasy side of the show really open up some option
