Agree with your perspective on Blair &amp; Chuck. She shouldn't have gone to Jack, but Chuck was way more in the wrong here. Her motive was to help him, and his motive was to use her to help himself. He treated her like a commodity, and doesn't seem to grasp how fucked up that is. Also agree with you that this regression doesn't really fit with Chuck's character development so far, but that it does make for good story drama.

I don’t think Blair is to blame at all this is all on Chuck for making such a deal behind her back and guiding her into wanting to do it when he knew that Jack told her and it was on her mind. As much as I loved Chuck and Blair together at this point I was just about done with Chuck and his fake apologies. He obviously doesn’t understand how fucked up what he did is so his apologies mean nothing in my opinion. In terms of character development I think it kinda makes sense to have him fuck up like this and relapsing into how he used to be because people have their selfish moments and it takes a lot of work to unlearn it.
