Yay I'm happy you enjoyed the premiere! The first half of S1 is a bit wonky, but the last half is much better and lays the groundwork for our series long story arc. There are some great eps in this first half though. I love all these characters, it's hard to pick a favorite out of them. I love that the puppets (Rygel and Pilot) are so well done, you completely forget your watching "puppets", they become real characters.

Oh man, Farscape used to be on Australian TV when I was like... 8 or 9 years old? I think it was mostly produced in Australia, I remember always asking my parents to record it (when VHS tapes were still a thing). The puppets are awesome and do I wish that was more common these days, instead of completely CGI characters.

So finally watched it, kinda interesting. Wasn’t expecting any of that lol. I love the effects and stuff there is just something so charming about that. I need more before I can really form an opinion. I like the premise so far but I’ve always been iffy with things that take place in space, it’s not my favorite setting but if it’s good I can always find enjoyment. Im excited to see more.

thanks for sharing, i feel the sci-fi fantasy feel give it an interesting spin heard it starts off abit weak but gets really good, but so far really enjoyable premier. looking forward to see what you think as it not genre you normally watch.

I am SO relieved you enjoyed this, Just signed up because I absolutely LOVE Farscape. If you like alien you have come to the right place :) The Characters are amazing and only get bigger and better and more complex. This is a show you can truly get invested in and there really are no limits.

This is one of my favourite sci-fi shows! The overarching plot doesn't really come into play until a bit later on and that's when things get really good. There's definitely some more fantasy type elements so it's good you like that sort of thing.

Fun fact, the puppetry and prosthetics in Farscape are done by the Jim Henson Company who also created The Muppets 😄

I came to your patreon for Mo Dao Zu Shi, but found Farscape!!!! It is one of my favorite shows ever. I've watched the whole thing at least 4 times- guess I'll watch it again here!
