The actor David Strathairn is fantastic. The writers realized they had acting gold and are making the most of him! As you are reading the books I won't say more but I have absolutely loved his performance. I particularly love Bobbie's arc here as well. You are very insightful into her character. She is traveling this very unexpected road for her. Its funny that the Ilus stories seem the least compelling to many but I love what is happening there as well. Being on an alien habitable world is like nirvana for science fiction so I love that story line as well. I guess you could say I really enjoyed season 4 and the more I rewatch it, the better I like it.

Timestamp 31:20 in the upper right corner of the shuttle map you see the "Ruffcorn" stop, that's me. A shoutout from the writers and production crew for work I did during save the expanse campaign. The other stops on the map are also named after fans heavily involved with it also. There are fan shout out/easter eggs sprinkled all through S4 :) Also the Screaming Firehawks bar on mars in ep 1.

The image of a melting moon is so eerie. It seems like all the protomolecule tech is interconnected, so the destruction of that single rototiller machine caused a massive chain reaction that not only blew up an island but turned on a dormant planetary defensive system, and due to it's age, short circuited.

Incase no one has said anything, Bobbie and the mars storyline this season is from one of the novellas "Gods of Risk" :)
