Don't Fear The Spear [B&W] (Patreon)

Last week may have been quiet here on Patreon, but it was one of my busiest and most productive weeks ever, with an average of 12 hours of livestreaming on Discord every day, I ended up with more than 70 sketches by the end of the week! Now I'm sorting through that pile and polishing, exporting, getting em ready to post.

This was a very quick sketch of Nela done in about 20 mins. I don't even have WIP snapshots of this one because it was a speed-paint.

The idea here was to draw Lindsey Belmont dressed up in a very convincing Nela cosplay, with blue paint on her skin, and some fake ears and tusks. She also has gloves and toe socks that give her the requisite 3 finger and 2 toed Troll anatomy. Imagine her on stage doing a bodybuilding posing routine in this outfit, the way fitness competitors have a round for freestyle posing in a fun costume of their choosing. Lindsey is a big WoW/Skyrim nerd so characters like Nela and Prisoner are definitely who she would cosplay as.

In color I'd try to show the costume effect with a slightly different skin color and seams at the edges of her prosthetic parts. Really though, the only clue it's Lindsey is her physique being a little more human than troll. I may as well have just called it a Nela pic, but now you know the backstory FWIW!
