Horn Designs for Avorna, Hornling Paladin (Patreon)
Content
Avorna looks pretty similar to a Draenei, but she's actually a "Hornling" – long backstory for that creature type that I won't get into now – just focusing on the visuals differences here; no tail, no dangly chin tendrils, and no furry legs. She has most other Draenei features like hooves and glowing eyes, but one big difference is the way her horns work:
Her horns are actually flexible appendages made of muscle, attached to her skull, covered in plates of bone armor. She can move the prehensile tentacle-horns into different shapes to suit her mood, and "lock" them into a fixed position by flexing the horn muscle.
This is an X-ray view showing how I imagine the horn-muscle underneath the armor plates:
She can change her horn shape at will. For example – forward facing like a Bull if she needs to get pokey-pokey in battle. But her horn shape also changes subconsciously if she doesn't pay attention to it, like animal ears, or giant eyebrows, or a mood ring.
These are some of the shapes she likes to use:
What emotions do these shapes indicate? Happy, hungry, horny, and everything in between.
Avorna can be a little hard to read with her glowing white eyes, and impossibly smooth skin like a pore-less marble statue. But if you have to guess at her mood, horny is usually a safe bet.
I hear you guys like to see WIP, so here are a couple snapshots leading up to the full-body picture.
First a face closeup to explore face shapes, ears, and one possible twisty horn design:
She came out a bit more elf-like in facial features than I intended.
Moving on to her full-body:
Final futa form:
I planned to add some armor and make this a full character sheet, but only got as far as one arm bracer, and then began sketching some weapon and cloak ideas:
Avorna's 1st weapon of choice would usually be her cock, followed by her horns, but after that it's swords all the way. If she has room to carry 3 weapons, she'll take 3 swords. Must be something in her horny nature that draws her to stabby pointy things.
