This is where I truly began to appreciate the value of drawing at a really TINY size. I'm talking 300 pixels tall instead of my usual 3,000px canvas. So small it's only possible to detail the eyes with a few pixels of black and white, which forces me to really focus on the anatomy and proportions. It breaks me out of many bad habits and speeds up my process enough to do things like add shading and clothing during the initial sketch (instead of multiple layered passes).

Cutting out the extra layers and steps is making a huge difference already. It used to take me a full day to cleanly ink and shade a single high-res pinup. Now I'm able to do about 10 in this style just by reducing the size to 1/10th. It seems absurd that the math would work out that simply... but that's how it happened this time.

So I'm really excited to do more in this style! I'll still be making bigger detailed pinups, especially for commissions I'll work in high-resolution, but for comics, this feels like the way!

Day 120 might be my favorite of the bunch, maybe because her pose is so confident.

I'm thinking about using this pose for an updated avatar picture, to replace the old hoodie girl selfie I've been using since 2010. It's a pretty similar pose, but a bit naughtier. I'd have to make sure the nipples were covered but it could be almost SFW I think...?

Day 150 WIP:

Day 150 bottomless:

Day 150 bulging and dripping:

Day 180 goes into big and bulky offseason territory. Not something I do often but I think she came out really cute!

7 stage checkpoint:

For day 210 Emily is in her leanest, most ripped and shredded shape. I split off a female version along the way:

Which makes for a fun female muscle growth side-by-side:

Day 210 futa version (nude):

Emily showing how ridiculous the fit of her posing suit is - leaking right through her stretched bikini bottoms:

Full sparkly sequin contest posing suit:

And after her contest, Emily is back to offseason bulking mode to pack on even more beef.

She's not even bothering with clothes at this point:

Her nine month transformation so far:

And a little tease of what's in store for her next growth stage – Day 270:
