Don't be alarmed by this seemingly SFW post friends and futa fans – all three of these faces are getting built out into fully naughty pinups in short order!

My goal for this one was to try sketching faces in 3 different styles: realistic, anime, and comic book.

First the "realistic" one, not based on anyone in particular, but once I finished her I started getting a young Denise Hoshor vibe, so I used that body type as inspiration for her full pinup:

For a more anime-stye face I went with Street Fighter's Cammy because it was comfy:

On the comic book face I wanted to do something like the Fathom and Danger Girl styles from 90s comics like Witchblade. I felt she came out looking like Lara Croft, so that's what I'm basing the rest of her pinup on, giving her a lean, leggy, and super busty bodytype for a change of pace.

I still had some time on the clock when I finished these 3, so I wanted to see how far I could get with coloring a face if I only gave myself 15 minutes:

So this amount of sketching and color is what I could get done in one hour, which feels like the kind of daily warmup exercise I could realistically keep up with for a while, and still have enough energy left  to tackle plenty of other art each day.

Over the last couple years, I've gone through phases where I'm making a new picture every day for long streaks (like 180 days), but only when I was spending the whole day on the "daily sketch" leaving no space for bigger projects of any kind. So with any luck I'll be able to maintain these kinds of 1-hour daily warmups, in addition to making progress on the comics, commissions, and animations I've been juggling lately.

I haven't been very communicative with updates recently but I'm feeling great about the direction things are heading! My commission queue is full up at the moment with 8 slots booked, a couple of which are going to be GIF animations or 5-stage growth series, so I'm really happy to have so much of my favorite kind of stuff to work on in the pipeline. I resisted taking on commissions for a long time because I didn't want to take time away from the types of art I wanted to focus on, so I'm extremely grateful to have gotten so many commissions that are right up my alley. They're not necessarily things I would be drawing without prompting, but they're exactly the frontier(s) I want to be exploring right now. So it's all coming up Millhouse!

Whoa! It's a perfect piece of work, great sketches, and there really is a resemblance to Lara Croft, it's cool when you're inspired by your own work.
