Aural Adventures | Size Check - Ep1 (Patreon)

Thanks for a fantastic year, friends! It's been a joy getting to invest more time into my art and writing in 2018, and it's all thanks to your generous support! Whether it's your first month here, or you've been a patron since the beginning in 2017, your backing helped me become financially independent enough to invest my time into things like this.

One of the projects I've been wanting to do for a long time is an audiobook of Diamond In The Buff, and I'm very excited to say that is now happening! I'll be collaborating with a very talented voice actress who goes by the name Minty Crunch, to turn each chapter into an audio episode read aloud by Minty, edited by yours truly.

To kick things off with a bang, I thought we'd start with a shorter standalone story as a pilot of sorts to test the waters. This one is available to all patrons, so gather the family by the fire, pour some eggnog, and enjoy the classic tale of Jenna vs Kim, the day that shook Hillcrest Gym to its very foundation.

Then in January, we'll dive into Becca and Lindsey's story starting at the beginning, and release regular chapter updates until the audio catches up to the written story. Eventually, it will be a complete 8-10 hour audiobook!

When it came time to make some album art for this story, I realized I never fully colored Kim and Jenna's original picture, and thought this would be a fine chance to polish them up in full color, using the style I've been practicing on the daily sketches.

In January I'll be changing things up and doing something different with the daily sketches, putting more time and effort into each update, as well as trying out more comic format posts to continue the stories of characters we already know and love. Overall I'll still be putting the same energy into this Patreon, but the output should be more varied and interesting!

So I'm planning for these audio stories to partially take the place of daily sketches as a reward for the Knight and Warden tiers in 2019, but there will be other comic-related bonuses for those tiers as well. I'm still working out the details, but I'm thinking future audio episodes will be exclusive rewards for Knights and Wardens, with Wardens getting early access. Feedback is welcome! Would you want to hear all my stories read aloud by Minty? Would you be interested in brand new audio adventures not based on any existing stories? Anything is possible, with your support!
