Demo Day | Pg 3 | Tess Comic #1 [Colored] (Patreon)

Tess can't get enough of performing for an audience, as we've seen in Page One and Page Two of this little comic introducing her. This page shows us why she has this job... the nerds in R&D still haven't invented a polymer that can contain one of her full-power blasts, so every trial yields valuable data. Data that must be reviewed in great detail... especially the slow-motion video playback.

I learned a lot making this comic, mainly how much extra time it takes trying to keep everything consistent over multiple panels, though I'm enjoying the looser, more exaggerated proportions that happen when I draw figures small on the page. With about 10 panels per page, drawing and coloring each of these really took me 2-3 Time Slots worth of time to get them right, but fortunately I have the time to invest this summer (mostly because of the incredible Patron support allowing me to quit a summer job and do this instead) so I'll definitely be doing more comics in the future, thanks for making it possible!

Of course– this isn't the last we've seen of Tess. I'd like to do some kind of final panel to give these 3 pages a little more closure. We may need a vote on what happens next!
